Explain better with 3D

3D BIM models help stream line the building process.

The building process is often very confusing and difficult to get your head around. Barrington Arch works with clients big & small to help better communicate their design ideas & planning information.

Below are some images of a project we are currently working on. The building (a new house) has been fully modeling in ArchiCAD (an award winning BIM software). This allows our clients to walk around the building project and easily see how different decision will affect the design of their home. It also helps them to build more of an emotional connection with the project. As they can easily visualize their furniture in the house. The below 3d ‘roof off’ visuals have dramatically help to communicate our design intentions for the project. Making the whole process a lot easier!

You will also see in the model a lot of the BIM objects we have helped to produce. For manufacturers and as a part of our Barrington ArchiCAD library.

Unlock more power in your product information

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Are you selling your product information short?

Now days everything is modeled in 3D, chances are the products or components you are selling all have been. However even though all this work has gone into product development, most of this great information is lost as soon as the product is put into production.

Your R&D department model that product in 3D because that is the best way to communicate the information!

Unlock that power

Instead of hiding those 3d models away, release them to the market. This creates a huge buzz around your product as far more information can be communicated about your product, far more easily. By turning these existing 3d models into BIM content you allow architects, designers & engineers to quickly access huge amounts of your products information, far more easily & far more accurately. A perfect win-win.

Chances are your company already has valuable 3D assets, by repacking them into an easily accessible BIM format (eg ArchiCAD or Revit) you open this information up to everyone. Thus growing your sales & increasing your bottom line!
