EverGlow BIM content for Revit & ArchiCAD

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

everglow-logoLately we have been working with EverGlow US (one of the USA biggest manufacturers of signage and safety fittings). EverGlow came to us as they were looking for better ways to meet the needs of their Architects & Specifiers.

We worked in closely with EverGlow to create branded BIM content of their products for both Autodesk Revit & ArchiCAD. These allow specifiers to quickly & easily place EverGlows signage products into their building information models. Specifiers can rest assured knowing that the signage has been shown correctly and greatly speeds up their work flow.

This new BIM content is a free download from EverGlow’s website and is also available from our ArchiCAD marketplace at objectstop.com

If you are interested in having your products integrated into the latest BIM software or have any questions, contact us today at info@barringtonarch.com

Explain better with 3D

3D BIM models help stream line the building process.

The building process is often very confusing and difficult to get your head around. Barrington Arch works with clients big & small to help better communicate their design ideas & planning information.

Below are some images of a project we are currently working on. The building (a new house) has been fully modeling in ArchiCAD (an award winning BIM software). This allows our clients to walk around the building project and easily see how different decision will affect the design of their home. It also helps them to build more of an emotional connection with the project. As they can easily visualize their furniture in the house. The below 3d ‘roof off’ visuals have dramatically help to communicate our design intentions for the project. Making the whole process a lot easier!

You will also see in the model a lot of the BIM objects we have helped to produce. For manufacturers and as a part of our Barrington ArchiCAD library.

Resene Colour files for ArchiCAD.

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

res_col_1_rgbWe have just finished helping Resene NZ & Australia to convert their latest colour ranges into an easy to use ArchiCAD format. Opening them up to a huge market.

As usual you can download these files for free from Resene’s Website, the ArchiCAD object depositary or our ArchiCAD marketplace at Objectstop.com

As usual if you know of another paint company you’d like to see in ArchiCAD, let us know. Paint manufacturers are constantly looking for ways to better meet the needs of their specifiers and we are happy to help them!

We can also converted colours into other formats such as Revit, Vector Works, Google Sketchup and Cinema 4D
